Is Dynasty Exchange free?
Yes. Player values, the trade analyzer, workload data, and pick futures are free. An account unlocks league sync and watchlists.
What platforms does Dynasty Exchange sync with?
Dynasty Exchange currently syncs with Sleeper. Link your username once — no password needed — to load every league, unlocking your portfolio, league analyzer, and trade partner finder. Sleeper is the only integration available today; additional platforms are a longer-term goal.
Can I use Dynasty Exchange without connecting a league?
Yes. You can browse every player's value, view price histories, check rookie pick values, and use the trade analyzer as a guest. Connecting a Sleeper league is only needed for personalized features like portfolios and league-specific pricing.

What is dynasty fantasy football?
A format where you keep your entire roster season to season instead of redrafting. New talent arrives via rookie drafts and trades, so age, long-term opportunity, and draft picks matter as much as this week's production, and managers plan in multi-year windows.

What is Dynasty Exchange?
Dynasty Exchange is a free dynasty fantasy football platform that prices every player — offensive and IDP — like assets in a market. It combines performance, manager activity, roster behavior, market movement, league settings, and positional scarcity to estimate values, updated daily with full price history.
How is Dynasty Exchange different from KeepTradeCut?
KeepTradeCut crowdsources values from community votes. Dynasty Exchange prices players from market behavior — real trades, waiver adds, and roster movement across live leagues — adjusted to your league format, with receipts showing why each price moved. Both approaches measure different things; comparing them can reveal where opinion and market behavior diverge.
Formats
What is a superflex dynasty league and why are QBs worth more?
Superflex adds a flex spot that can start a quarterback, letting teams play two QBs. Startable QBs are scarce, so demand roughly doubles and elite young QBs top superflex value boards. Confirming superflex vs. 1QB is the most important setting on any value chart.
What is tight end premium scoring?
TE premium gives tight ends extra points per reception — commonly +0.5 or +1.0 over standard PPR — to make the position relevant. It raises the cost of proven TE1s and boosts young, high-target tight ends as dynasty holds.
IDP
How are IDP players valued in dynasty leagues?
The same logic as offense — expected future production adjusted for scarcity and age — with different inputs: snap share and role matter most, and scoring settings swing values more than any offensive setting. Dynasty Exchange prices DL, LB, and DB on the same scale as offensive players.
How should IDP players be compared with offensive players in trades?
Put them on one value scale. In tackle-heavy formats an every-down linebacker can carry the weekly floor of a solid WR2; in big-play formats elite edge rushers lead. Because IDP prices vary by scoring, league-adjusted values are essential for mixed trades.
Market
What makes a dynasty player gain or lose value?
Value moves when expected future production changes: opportunity growth, efficiency, coaching changes, and youth push prices up; age, lost snaps, injuries, and crowded depth charts push them down. Market activity often moves before the box score does.
What do roster percentage and start percentage mean?
Roster percentage is the share of leagues where a player is rostered; start percentage is the share of rosters actually starting him. Rising roster percentage shows managers spending to acquire; rising start percentage shows lineup trust. Divergences between the two are informative signals.
How can snap share and workload identify breakouts early?
Usage usually rises before price: coaches expand a player's snaps, routes, and touches weeks before production and market value catch up. Tracking workload trends against price history is how managers buy breakouts before the market reprices them.
Trading
How are rookie draft picks valued?
A pick is worth roughly the expected value of the player it becomes, discounted for uncertainty. Round and slot, class strength, and time until the pick converts drive the price — future-year picks trade at a discount. Pick Futures shows curves by year and slot.
What is a dynasty trade calculator?
A tool that assigns a numeric value to every player and pick so trade sides can be compared. Calculators differ mainly in where values come from — votes, real trades, expert rankings, or blended signals. Use them as a market reference and negotiation aid, not a verdict.
Why do dynasty trade calculators disagree?
Because they measure different things: community votes react fast to hype, trade data reflects what managers actually pay, and expert rankings reflect analysis. Format assumptions add further gaps. When tools disagree sharply, check the format settings first — disagreement often marks where trade opportunities live.
Are dynasty trade calculators accurate?
They're accurate at describing the market, not predicting the future. A good calculator tells you what a player typically costs right now. Treat values as a market baseline and deviate deliberately — for your window or roster — not accidentally.
Can a trade calculator tell me whether a trade is good for my team?
Only partially. It answers which side receives more market value — not whether the deal fits your roster and window. Contenders should often 'lose' raw value to consolidate; rebuilders should take the volume side. Tools that see your actual roster can layer that context on top.

How are Dynasty Exchange player values calculated?
Values are priced from actual market behavior — real trades, waiver adds, roster percentage, and start rates — adjusted for league format, production, and age.
How often do Dynasty Exchange values update?
Values are recalculated and snapshotted daily, and every player page keeps a complete daily price history showing the market activity — trade volume, add rate, start percentage — behind each move.
Why might a player have a different value in each of my leagues?
Because dynasty value depends on league context: the same QB is worth far more in superflex than 1QB, tight ends rise with TE premium, and depth matters more in deep rosters. Dynasty Exchange adjusts values for each league's lineup requirements, scoring, and roster size.
Do real trades change Dynasty Exchange player values?
Yes — completed trades are one of the strongest pricing signals. Trade activity moves a player's price the way order flow moves a stock, alongside waiver claims, roster and start percentages, production, and workload, so one lopsided deal can't distort the market on its own.
Do waiver claims and free-agent adds affect player values?
Yes. Waiver claims and adds show managers spending real resources to acquire a player — often the earliest market conviction signal, appearing before trades. Add activity across connected leagues feeds directly into daily pricing.
How are inactive or retired players handled?
Their values decay toward zero based on position, age, and time out of the league rather than freezing at their last active price, so rosters and trade analysis aren't inflated by names that no longer produce.
